
POSRG provides point of sale systems hardware and services for the retail, hospitality and food service industries. Their old website was built using outdated web technologies and averaged less than 100 unique visitors per month, The original designers did not incorporate functional usability and structure into the design and the site performed poorly in terms of user experience and search engine optimization. POSRG.com also lacked other standard website functions such as: site search, a contact forms, and analytics tracking. The marketing managers had no idea who was visiting, where they came from, or how they found the website.
We are in the process of redesigning the POSRG website including:
- Fresh new look and logo, incorporating search engine optimization and usability architecture.
- New web application that pulls the entire equipment inventory from their central database.
- WYSIWG content management system that allows the marketing department to update the site without knowledge of programming or coding.
We are also implementing an aggressive search engine marketing strategy for POSRG including on and off page optimization. A mix of title and content optimization, video development and distribution, and automated social media syndication will be deployed to create search engine visibility and ranking.
